There are plenty of books on the market aimed at helping people learn to draw, I have my fair share of them. One of them is Keys to Drawing with Imagination by Bert Dodson. I thought I would share some of the drawings I have done after following certain exercises in the book. It begins with doodling. Drawing can be so easy, really anybody can draw, in fact we all do when we doodle. This book doesn’t therefore teach you how to doodle it just offers up some ideas for more creative doodling. What better way to start building confidence and creativity than just doodling, what could go wrong?

Below are a couple of examples, the first shows some shape clusters and the second some building blocks.
