Making pastel colour charts isn’t as bad as it might sound. I currently have an order for 20 sets which is 60 charts altogether. There are 380 individual colours in each set so that’s 7600 hand painted little squares. It can be a pain in the neck quite literally but with my favourite tunes playing in the background and as many tea breaks as I need it can also be quite pleasant. Since I began making these charts about 4 years ago I’ve sold over 300 sets or to put it another way 114,000 coloured squares. It’s never gonna make me rich but it does provide a certain amount of job satisfaction because it’s practical art, both decorative and useful.
